random thoughts: adventisements

i just had my groceries and i have few mumblings on what i saw and bought..

• welch - last sabbath, pastor mendoza told us in his sermon about budgeting. and one of those things he said he would splurge is welch. adventists usually familiar with this because of Lord's supper ( i don't know what catholics use in their communion ). well, i think he's good in advertising, or maybe, this is one of the things i crave during my childhood, got no money then.. so i bought one. and its expensive. i dunno if i will buy again..
• palmolive anti-dandruff shampoo - yes, the shampoo with iya valderama on the commercial. i bought this one because it WAS effective when i was in high school. i dunno if it will, now.. anyway, it's not really the product which i do have something to say.. it's the commercial. i'm deeply troubled everytime i see it in tv.. which i quite often. why? the way they bang their head.. somethings not really right.. not to offend them, it seems that there's nothing inside.. i mean, you would get dizzy, right? but if it's empty.. you wouldn't have any problem–which is what i saw in the commercial.. people happy swirling their head throwing them everywhere.. O_O
• xadro slimming thing.. sowi, i dunno the complete/correct name >.< i learned about this when first saw this big billboard of boy abunda and kris aquino in edsa. (so billboards really effective, huh) partly absurd, partly annoying, these celebrities flamboyantly thank their authetic surgeons for their liposuctions while endorsing these pills for losing weight.. bad advertisement.. by the way, i didn't bought this one.. i just saw them when i went to watson's.. i mean, this would be the last thing i need.. hehe
